Tim Attaway, Manager
Tim grew up and graduated from Robinson High School. Tim’s wife is Jane and they have two sons Dan and John and four grandsons Cale, Logan, Anthony and Kaden and two granddaughters Sarah Kay and Ainsley. Tim is a 1972 Graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, Indianapolis, Indiana and has been a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1973. Tim has been the manager of the Oblong funeral home since he moved to Oblong, July 1, 1994, from Monticello, IL. He and Jane live in Oblong and are both members of the First Christian Church of Oblong. Tim has been active in the Oblong Chamber of Commerce since 1995 and has served as President. Tim is also a member of the Oblong Ruritan Club and the Oblong Community Service Club. Professionally, Tim is a member of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association and the Funeral Ethics Association.
Alana Bean, Office Manager
Alana was raised in Oblong and graduated from Oblong High School. Alana is married to Zachary Bean and they live in Oblong with their four daughters Aurora, Camryn, Brylynn and Dakota. She is a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Oblong. Alana enjoys spending time with her kids and family. She loves to travel, especially if it is to the beach. She likes watching football and Cardinal’s Baseball. When she has free time she loves to read, watch movies and play outside with her kids.
